Where did we get your data from?
We received it from you when you registered an Aqua-Trend product you purchased, or any other brand distributed by Aqua-Trend.
What is the purpose and legal basis of Aqua-Trend’s processing of your personal data?
We process your personal data because it is necessary to carry out the activities to which we have committed ourselves in the product registration form you filled in, for marketing purposes, for analytical purposes:
- notifications by e-mail about new versions of mobile applications for devices controlled in this way;
- notification by email of new instructional material which will make it easier for you to use our products;
- contact you by email and telephone to improve and speed up the claims process if your product develops a fault;
- email and telephone notifications of new products from Aqua-Trend, and other brands distributed by Aqua-Trend (subject to additional marketing consent);
- e-mail and telephone notifications of promotions and special offers on Aqua-Trend products and services (where you have provided your additional marketing consent);
- for research and analysis, among other things, with regard to the popularity of mobile platforms (Android/IOS)
- to organise loyalty programmes, competitions and promotional activities in which you may participate ( if you give your additional marketing consent);
How long will we process your personal data?
- We will process your personal data until you withdraw your consent;
Do you need to provide us with your personal data?
- We require you to provide the following personal data in order for us to provide you with the services we commit to in the product registration form: email address, first name, last name, telephone;
- if for some reason you do not provide this personal information, unfortunately we will not be able to provide you with the services referred to in the product registration form;
What rights do you have vis-à-vis Aqua-Trend with regard to the data processed?
- We guarantee the fulfilment of all your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, i.e. the right to access, rectification and erasure of your data, restriction of processing, the right to data portability, not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling, and the right to object to the processing of your personal data;
You can exercise these rights when:
- with regard to a request for rectification: you notice that your data is incorrect or incomplete;
- with regard to a request for erasure of data: Your data will no longer be necessary for the purposes for which they were collected by Aqua-Trend Pawłowski Łukasz ; you withdraw your consent to the processing; you will object to the processing
- when your data will be processed unlawfully; your data should be deleted in order to comply with an obligation arising from a legal provision or your data was collected in connection with the provision of electronic services offered to your child;
- with regard to a request for restriction of data processing: you notice that your data is incorrect – you can request the restriction of the processing of your data for a period of time allowing us to check the correctness of the data; your data has been processed unlawfully but you do not want it to be deleted; we no longer need your data, but you may need it to defend or assert a claim; or you object to the processing of your data – until we determine whether the legitimate grounds on our side override the grounds for the objection;
- in relation to a request for data portability: the processing of your data takes place on the basis of your consent or a contract concluded with you and where this processing is carried out by automated means.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint in relation to our processing of your personal data with the supervisory authority, which is the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection (address: General Inspector for Personal Data Protection, 2 Stawki Street, 00-193 Warsaw).
In what situations can you object to the processing of your data?
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data when:
- the processing of your personal data is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest or for statistical purposes, and the objection is justified by the particular situation in which you find yourself,
- your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, including being profiled for this purpose.
- Please note that you can exercise your right to object from 25 May 2018.
Who do we share your personal data with?
- We share your personal data with a transport company and with entities that support us in the provision of electronic services, i.e. those that provide payment services, credit services, insurance services, perform consulting or auditing services.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data for the duration of the contract concluded with you, and also after its termination for the purposes of:
- asserting claims in connection with the performance of the contract,
- the performance of legal obligations, including in particular tax and accounting obligations,
- preventing fraud and abuse,
- statistics and archiving,
We keep your personal data for marketing purposes for the duration of the contract or until you object to such processing, whichever occurs first.
In the case of the organisation of loyalty programmes, competitions and promotional activities in which you may participate – we will process your data for their duration and the period of settlement of the prize giving.
For the purpose of accountability, i.e. to prove compliance with the regulations on the processing of personal data, we will keep your data for the period in which Aqua-Trend is obliged to retain the data or the documents containing them in order to document compliance with legal requirements and to allow public authorities to control their compliance.
If we are assisting you in obtaining a loan, the period for which we store your data for this purpose will be equal to the period for which you are applying for the loan.
Do we transfer your data to countries outside the European Economic Area?
- We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area;
